Pretty much when it comes to communication between characters in a roleplay people tend to go for text messages or regular gif chats. In all of my roleplay experience I’ve only seen people carry out phone calls once, which is kind of a bummer seeing as they’re fun to play out. I had a post about this on my old blog before it got deleted and the topic came up once again. In a set ship roleplay, I’ve seldom seen the pairs have good chemistry - and when I do it’s once in a blue moon. Either in their app when they’re initially joining (you can pair people up from their responses) or after when you’ve already accepted. Whichever is easier for you, the admin.

Here is a guide on things to think about when writing bios to help them to be the best they can be and the most playable and desirable characters for your game.
These were all originated by various people on Polyvore, only a few are mine but from a year or so ago. If you feel like your 1x1 isn’t going anywhere, or maybe a couple characters should have great character development in a roleplay but you can’t think of any, try out some of these. Each list was created by a different person or at least in a different place.
